Pandemic mania had me out of pocket and out of my "normal" self for more months than I care to count, leaving me completely blank when it came to writing. I've suffered (and am still dealing with) long-term C19 effects, but on the mend to a better frame of mind and thought process.
I owe my fans an apology for dropping off the face of the Earth for so long, but it was unavoidable. Writer's block isn't just a term, it's an actual affliction. When you are someone who was used to writing every day and then going to not being able to even write one sentence, it's extremely frustrating and depressing. Neither of which helps with the original problem (the block).
On a positive note, I now have my brain back to firing on at least 80% and the writing urges have begun to flutter and make themselves known. I am in the process of re-reading The Ackerman Security Series so I can pick up where I left off. I know I left everyone with a cliff-hanger so I plan to remedy that ASAP.
I hope everyone else is doing well and made it through the pandemic with mild or no issues.
