These are just a few words that come to mind when the folks at Ink Link pop into my mind.
I can't say enough how incredible this crew is. I recently had the opportunity to spend some time in their shop and had a terrific experience. From the moment I phoned for an appointment to the second I left the building the team were nothing but courteous and helpful.
After spending a couple of years researching what tattoo I wanted next, I brought all my ideas with me and in no time at all a design was drafted and the work began.
I'll admit I have had two other tattoos (from somewhere else) and the experience was "okay". My time at Ink Link was much more enjoyable. The "guys" kept popping in to see how things were going and offer opinions that were genuinely honest, in my estimation.
When I left the shop I felt like I had just been given a masterpiece to share with the world. Now, you may ask why I haven't included a picture... My reasons.... One, I'm still in the "healing" phase. Two, every picture I've taken hasn't captured the colors they way they really are and I fear the pic would not do the work justice. This is a true work of art and I am proud to say where it came from.
For those who don't know, I'm an author and spend a lot of time in the coffee shops, writing. So, I came up with the idea of books (kind of Old World style) with a steaming cup of coffee that had my author initials in the steam. Now, the fact that I am NOT an artist, meant bringing in a slew of pics from Google searches as examples and a list of colors that I wanted incorporated into the design.
Well, they blew me away with their ability to capture exactly what I had in mind, bringing the design from my mind, to "life".
The cleanliness of the shop was beyond any I have seen before and that's a huge plus in my book. There are multiple artists for a person to work with, so I feel that one way or another they would be able to meet anyone's design needs.
On a rating scale of one to five stars, I would give them five++ and I highly recommend them.
Kudos to all of the Ink Link staff. I look forward to working with you on a few other projects we talked about, in the near future.
